Five Fifty Two

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.- Nelson Mandela

Education has had a profound impact on the overall population of health. In socioeconomically disadvantaged communities there is often low access to healthy foods; and health related resources and high access to unhealthy food. This kind of environment creates a population of people with poor nutrition, obesity, and other health related illnesses. Obesity also leads to other chronic illnesses and decreases life expectancy by 13 years according to the Population Reference Bureau. This is why we provide education in health and wellness that will enable youth, families and communities at large to gain the knowledge necessary to live healthier lives. Regardless of the age, our education programs are able meet the needs of the people whom we serve.
